Intellect, Creativity, and Craftsmanship
Together with our clients we form lasting and meaningful connections, with ideas that parallel ambition, and solutions that are – like ourselves – rooted deeply in place. We live in the North. We design for the North. We draw inspiration from the traditions, ambition, perseverance, and people of the North.

Hai On is a registered architect with a portfolio as diverse as his life experience. Born in Vietnam in 1964, Hai’s family was airlifted to safety by US Marines during the fall of Saigon in 1975, and emigrated to the United States shortly thereafter, taking root in the states of Indiana and Texas. After receiving his architectural degree, Hai spent 12 years working in Alaska during which his design for the Museum of the Aleutian earned an AIA Honor award for design excellence. Now residing on the Big Island of Hawaii, Hai is the Principal of Fins Architecture, LLC, a progressive design firm specializing in residential and small commercial projects that foster sustainability and environmental stewardship. Like NorthForm, Hai believes architecture is inextricably linked with place, and his ability to identify, distill, and integrate his designs with place has earned recognition from a variety of sources.
